Robert T. Jensen, D.D.S., M.S., Inc.
Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology
Periodontics and Dental Implants

Financial Policy

Periodontal treatment and dental implants are an excellent investment in you, your health and your smile.  Gum disease is often progressive and only gets worse with time and, if left untreated, will result in a loss of teeth.  Untreated gum disease can also increase the risk for coronary artery disease, strokes, certain types of cancer and other serious health concerns so, it is important that necessary treatment not be delayed.  Financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining the care you need.  For this reason, we offer several payment options.  Our staff will gladly review options that can help make your care affordable.

We are a fee for service practice.  Our fees are based on case complexity, time needed, and the skills, care, and office environment provided by Dr. Jensen and his staff. We deliver high-quality, personalized care at a fair cost.  Payment for services is expected at the time of treatment unless an alternative financial arrangement has been made with our practice administrators.

INITIAL EXAMINATION

We ask that you be responsible for the payment of examinations, consultations and radiographs on the day that these services are provided.  For your convenience we gladly accept cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover for these services.  If you have dental insurance, we will submit a claim for these services and request that your insurance company send reimbursement to you if your insurance company provides a benefit for these services.

PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR TREATMENTS

Once the initial examination is completed and Dr. Jensen has developed a treatment plan, anticipated fees and payment options for treatment will be reviewed with you by a member of our staff.  This will be done in a caring, open manner because we believe it is important for you to know what to expect financially.  We will also, upon request, gladly submit a request for a pre-Determination of Benefits (pre-D) to your insurance company to determine your eligibility for benefits for the treatment that is recommended by Dr. Jensen.  For more information about insurance, please refer to the Insurance  page found under Patient Information on our website.  Once a comfortable financial arrangement is established, there is one less thing to worry about as you begin down the path to better dental health.

We offer a variety of payment options to allow you to receive the treatment that is needed to help you maintain dental health.  These options include payment by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

We have also partnered with Care Credit offering low monthly payments for patients who choose to finance their dental treatment.  Options provided by Care Credit include a six month no interest installment plan and various extended plans that provide affordable payments up to seven years.  The application process is simple, completed online, and can be expedited with the assistance of one of our practice administrators.  In most cases, they'll have the answer within minutes.  Please note that Care Credit is not accepted for routine procedures including examinations, consultations, radiographs, cleanings and periodontal maintenance in our office.
